CATHOLIC ENGAGED ENCOUNTER WEEKEND
The Engaged Encounter Weekend offers couples a unique opportunity to look at their commitment to each other in a deeper way as they prepare for marriage. It gives them the opportunity to focus exclusively on each other free from the pressure and distractions of the outside world.
Though Catholic in origin, the Engaged Encounter Weekend experience more generally calls a man and a woman as a couple to strive for a sacramental way of life through the vocation of marriage. The Weekend is an in-depth, private, personal, marriage preparation experience within the context of Catholic faith and values, but is not limited to Catholic couples.
Wondering why to attend for an Entire Weekend? The weekend experience offers each couple the insights, the tools and the confidence to enrich their relationship and strengthen their love for one another. They learn that good marriages don’t just happen by accident.

SCHEDULE INFORMATION
Catholic Engaged Encounter, Orange County offers marriage preparation weekend retreats virtually multiple times a year. These online retreats are two days, beginning on Saturday from 8am until 9pm with two breaks for meals. We continue on Sunday from 8am to 3pm with one meal break. All times are local to California.
Once you register and pay online, you will receive a “Payment Complete – OCEE” email and a week before the retreat, you will receive a reminder email. Please check your Spam or Junk mailboxes.
Retreat notebooks will be mailed out the Monday before the retreat to the address entered in the online registration.
Cancellations, Refunds, & Schedule Changes
- Cancellations/refunds: $5 non-refundable fee for virtual retreat.
- Rescheduling at least fifteen days before the start of a weekend: no fees or penalties.
- Rescheduling/Cancelling after a weekend has begun: No refunds will be provided.
